Monday: Thank You for the RAIN
We were up at 6:30 this morning and it was raining.
Rain continued off and on all day, some very heavy showers - I moved lots of plants outside to get a thorough soaking.
Between showers I walked around the garden, the bees were following my lead, foraging on the flowers then taking cover as the showers arrived.
The 2 top photos of today’s Blip are Common Carder Bees in the blue cornflower and pollinating the raspberries.
Bottom right is a Buff Tailed Bumblebee on a yellow Welsh poppy and I have no idea what the little snail is - don’t think I’ve seen a black snail before but there were 3 of these in the new deep bed behind the greenhouse.
MrD on deliveries and managed not to get too wet and to finish at a reasonable time. He was cold this evening and put the heating on!!
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
