Busier day than I wanted

Slept a long time last night and woke feeling surprisingly well apart from the sore arm, shoulder, knees and hands!

We took our time getting up and dressed but were still out and about to find breakfast before 10. Managed to get seats on the train ok but it was almost as busy as the one coming through yesterday.

Met Mr PHL in town so we could head to the shop to handover our old phones and get the trade in value credited back into my card. Hadn’t made an appointment as we didn’t think we’d need to but had to make one and head off for a bite of lunch. We had the boys with us and they were reasonably well behaved in all the noise and traffic.

Phones handed over and money credited back (though it has yet to appear on my account but on the plus side the bill from Saturday hasn’t shown up yet either!) and we headed back to the car to drop off a package for Miss PHL.

It had been warm and sunny when in town but the rain started just as we got home so the grass remains uncut. Phin, Henry and I s ok ent a happy couple of hours in the sofa snoozing before I managed out round the stream with them before dinner.

Call this evening with the holidaymakers, plans are moving at some pace and the wedding will take place on 2nd November. They think they’ve sorted the venue, the officiant and possibly the photographer and are making inroads into finding accommodation for the 16-20 of us who will be out there with them.

Thanks to FrankS for hosting MonoMonday this month, I couldn’t quite get with the theme but I do love me wee Spanish witch!
I’m hosting next month and am still mulling over potential themes, will put a post up later this week to confirm.

Didn’t manage out for a focused walk although I have walked more than 5 miles over the course of the day but I’ll catch up on missed days in June.
