Today we went out quite early to have brunch at Pain Quotidien which turned out not to be the best choice having tepid coffee!

Then on to the design museum with great displays and talk about new and innovative ways to make objects!

Back to Notting hill to St. Peter’s church for a free concert with villolin and piano, a Brahms sonata no 1 in G. A touch lack lustre and an amazing rendition of César Franck Sonata in A major!

Onward from there across Kensington gardens to the V&A to spend time at the Beatrix Potter exhibition, a complete joy and then a quick walk round the Fashioning Masculinities exhibition both courtesy of Jane who is a member there!

Got the bus home to then go out to a luscious dinner at osteria basilica in Notting hill near the flat. Another full and joyful day!
