Aiming High
Came back from edinburgh today and headed off to watch our grandson and his friends finally play the charity match which they had had to cancel so many times. The sun shone on Argyll park and the boys all played really well. We had to leave at half time as did our grandson who played in the first half. I spoke to the ref , who had a really good game ,before we left anhe agreed with me that the players were so easy to referee as they were all so keen to play and very even tempered. Only one foul in the first half.
From there it was off to Dumbarton for the Sons' game against Airdrie. A real cracker with the Sons winning 4-1 , only one point needed to ensure they stay up in Div one! hence the title of the blip - we are definitely aiming to stay up.
Also got really good news tonight , an email , which had been sent several days ago contained the wonderful news ( well it is to me ) that I have had a print accepted in the Scottish Salon Exhibition. Delighted hardly describes how I feel , the icing on the cake after the blipfoto exhibition opening on Friday night.
