Golden Larches

These Larch trees are just above my house, and at the moment there are heaps of the needles falling around my house.  Once a year I get a guy to come and clear the needles from the spouting.  The end of June is usually the best time.  That is Coromandel Peak in the right background.

After breakfast I had a nice stroll into town and back again.  It was supposed to rain, but so far so good.  It is very windy though.  Too warm for a hot chocolate, +18C
