BUMBLE AND THE VIOLET STALK

It's Tiny Tuesday and this photo is only adjunct to "anything in my household."  It's right out the kitchen window in what purports to be my "lawn."

Truth be told, I don't hold with using too many poisons if I can get along without them (the exception being ant colonies in the "lawn"). There's all sorts of additional plant life in my "lawn" other than grass.....Creeping Charlie, dandelions, Plantain, etc.

I like diversity. Just ask any biologist....the more diverse the community, the more healthy it is. This bumble is enjoying all my "lawn" has to offer. Right now it's Creeping Charlie.....in another month or so, he'll be hard at work in the tomato patch.
