Thai Fish cakes with assorted salads followed by panna cotta with raspberries and a raspberry coulis!! How delicious.
We were discussing Claire Keegan’s book - Small things like these - and we all agreed that we thoroughly enjoyed it. It provoked a lot of conversation about how mistreated pregnant girls were specifically in the convents in Southern Ireland and how sad their lives became after their babies were taken from them. There were lots of happy bits as well. Beautifully written.
