Coldstream

TUESDAY

We spent the morning looking round the shops in Alnwick including a stop off at Barter Books which is housed in the former railway station. It's a quirky place with a model railway running across the top of the bookcases, open fires and stunning murals on the walls.

Our next stop off was in Wooler, where we had lunch and then over to Etal for a look at the castle.

We ended the day over the border at Coldstream in Scotland where the blip was taken. It shows the bridge over the River Tweed with England on the right of the river.

Back to the Wooperton Hall this evening for dinner.
