Kitchen Window

The grapevines are beginning to give real shade, and the grapes are appearing... any green now is due to watering. We are predicted some rain tomorrow, which would be wonderful, but I'll believe it when I see it.

A weird sort of day, dealing with various people problems, which had us eventually having lunch/dinner at about 5pm. 

Gratefuls:
- good outcomes to the people problems, just wonderful answer to prayer
- finishing an excellent book last night: More Than I Love My Life, by an Israeli writer, David Grossman, translated from the Hebrew; just amazing how he manages to tell such an emotionally complex story (based on an actual woman) so well
- getting a walk in
