A Great Find

Hubby and I were riding around our property in the UTV today, driving under, through and over things because we could as we surveyed the perimeter. I was watching out in front of us and yelled STOP to him. He thought I'd seen a deer or other animal. I must say he can stop quickly if he needs too. I had spotted these pretty little Lady Slippers. A wild orchid that grows in forested places.
Calypso orchid, aka the lady slipper is a family favorite, coveted by all my close relatives. Of course I had to call and brag when I got home.
