Buff tailed bumble bee

The poor thing looks worn out. There is a bold patch on its back, working hard. The hair or fur on the bee collects pollen from flowers. Then the bee grooms of the pollen and packs it into ‘ baskets’ on its hind legs. Pollen and nectar mixed together make bee bread for bees.
