He's Back For Dinner

I've seen more osprey this year than last year so I'm happy about that.  Not sure why they weren't around last year but they've been back busily catching catfish for dinner and I think the occasional frog.  I'm very lucky that I don't even have to leave my back porch to watch them.  They're amazing to watch -- beautiful with a fierce sense of purpose.  The goslings are way too big to interest them now so I don't worry about that anymore.  I frankly think they prefer fish, but when the little newborn chicks are running around I worry.
