Space and Time

Managed to get the salary review committee done and dusted in a couple of hours then did some catch up and other work/email shovelling until lunchtime when Mt got back home having taken the weans to the fossil shop and the surgeon’s museum. Amazingly AR, who’d been to that museum before but not really liked it, remembered the whole thing and loved it this time as did Mx. They had their lunch and AR did some more craft (using lots of old cards I have to write a long story about the carrot and the fish and their adventures at sea), and ‘laminating’ cut out pictures with copious amounts of sellotape.
I took the afternoon off and we went down to Dynamic Earth. Once again they loved it, especially the 3D film where you fly through the climate zones and get snowed on, the huge block of ice and the parts about the Big Bang, We ended up with a film about super volcanoes in the planetarium cinema then they came with me to get some food shopping whilst Mt nipped home for some work meetings.
I left them having kids tea whilst I went to some farewell drinks for G who’s so unfortunately leaving us. We’ll miss her…(extra).
Made spinach pie and salad for supper then once again we all slumped
