No mow May

This year’s initiative has certainly meant the grass has grown, insects are happy and daisies have thrived.

To unstiffen a bit, I walked a little way along a path usually blessed with plenty of wildflowers and even a couple of orchids. Today I saw lots of grasses, daisies and nettles, but I was a little concerned that the prolific growth may have swamped some others.  Am I the only one with these concerns ?
