A detour on the moor
Belle and I set off for a nice walk on the moor yesterday. Walking is proving to be more exciting for Belle, but also increasingly frightening. It's now proven to be a nightmare to drag her through the grove to get up to the moor. She's scared of anything; from men with umbrellas to a slight gust of wind. I've come to the conclusion that the best option is to just carry her until we get to a spot where there are no cars to scare her. Once we're up in the wilderness - she gallops through the grass with no cares in the world.
I presume her nervousness is only due to her being a puppy, and experiencing all of these new sights for the very first time. Hopefully, when she grows up she will happily walk along the roadside with utter ease. Despite this, I love having a little friend to walk with. (Plus she's getting far better at posing for photographs!)
