Sandown Castle

A trip to Deal. We had intended to come yesterday after the funeral and have lunch but the weather was very unsettled so we came today instead to The Royal. I had seafood linguine but Alan had beef pie and mash which I will have next time we come. From the pier I took a picture of a Border Force-boat with its human cargo pausing before racing round to Dover. However I can”t resist Sandown “Castle” in all its floral glory all done by volunteers. There are poppies, irises, pinks, lavender, acquelegia and so many more all cheek by jowl.glory all
