Oak Island Loop Trail

A splendid day of bird-watching on Sauvie Island today. A quiet and beautiful spot all to ourselves, mostly, with only a few other groups, also with binoculars and a lot of helpful tips. Every bird was a thrill to see, along with frustration at the ones we couldn't ID. The best was watching a female Bullock's Oriole come and go from her delicate hanging nest.
