What a great day!!

today we went to the farm with my favorite special kids. some children have never had the chance to use their wheelchairs around young animals, let alone feed them. it was a party! one of the children suddenly showed that she absorbs more than was thought of what is being said in the class: she named all the animals correctly! a milestone!
the farmer and his wife have received us wonderfully! the stable had been transformed into a picnic area and there were even pancakes ready for the children. we don't know who enjoyed it the most, the children, the farmer and farmer's wife, the teachers and volunteers or the parents who came to pick up the children on the farm. great day!
