Log

A coastal walk today along the coast at Allonby, a walk that we would make circular.  Walking through fields everything was going fine until the path was blocked by barbed wire.  Retrace steps and return along the road and beach.  Sand Martins flying to and from their nest holes in a sandy bank.  Too fast to snap a photo, but worth watching.  This isn't me struggling up the beach but a log.  Scotland is in the background.  From another angle the log did look like a human.  The weather was fine, birdsong filled the air and small waves gently broke on the shore.  A good afternoon walk with my friend.
