Hiding

It is the first orange bloom in the set out for wildflowers.
I thought it deserved to stand out a bit more so I got my shadow to cover it so the metering was much more even. That shot is in the extras.

I cut back some of the tall grass in the pond (that is a horrible job as the leaves are like serrated knife blades.
I also thinned out a bit of the bamboo stand (another horrible job).
Both jobs are a bugger on a knackered back (not helped when I am having some bother with my sciatic nerves).
There was also a spot of hedge trimming to fill the garden waste bin for collection tomorrow - all finished off with a spot of tool sharpening.
