Surfinia

This is a white petunia with a purple vein. I love a veined petunia. Hopefully it will flower well and not be eaten by the slugs. I am going to protect the pot with dishwasher salt mixed with vaseline spread in a continuous line around the pot. This hopefully  will deter the slugs. A couple of years ago I did a controlled trial of copper tape to protect plants. It didn't really work. This new approach I haven't tried.
