(now for the sixth student - take a moment with me to center on this young girl - Maite Rodriguez, 10: Maite dreamed of attending Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to become a marine biologist, a cousin wrote on Facebook: “She was her mom’s best friend.” The university set up a scholarship in Maite’s memory for marine biology students. ------what a wonderful tribute.  I hope such honoring continues in meaningful ways)
