Meet up

Drove over to Elslack to meet up with my brother and sis in law. We stopped en route for a walk at Latterbarrow. The cowslips have died off but there was a swathe of deep blue aquilegia. 
The roads were quite quiet at first but inevitably we got behind a line of slow traffic so the journey took a couple of hours. 

Good to be able to meet up as it's not often we can. 

Fletch was very patient and we were all set to give him a walk before we drove home when the heavens opened. It eased off as we passed Twin Locks so stopped there .
