Don't smoke

Mother knows best.

My mum is up just now and suggested I put this up as my blip to encourage people not to smoke since this is what years of smoking is likely to get you.

This is the result of the operation she had at the end of January to remove part of her lung. It was as a result of lung cancer being discovered after many years of smoking.

The long scar is where they had to remove a rib so they could get into her lung and the bit that looks like a bulet home is where there was a fluid drain.

I'm certainly glad that I gave up smoking over four years ago now.
