Had a trip into town first thing. We both got some holiday clothes and Matt had a haircut. It was super sunny so we got ice lattes from a little truck by Harvey Nicks and sat in the sun with them.

In the evening we walked over to Hop Yard for the Van Gogh exhib. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from all the talk of “immersive experience” but it was actually very well done. I enjoyed it a lot, and so did Matt as a less-arty person. Our fave bit was the room at the end where you could do some colouring (extras), we ended up spending ages in there.

Left quite late but still walked straight up to Bill and Maddy’s (with added Elly too) for takeaway pizza and The Chase.
