The Cumberland Gap

A couple of years ago the same mate who did the fence widened the drive and removed the steps and direct approach to the front door.

One of the two removed "Box boxes" transplanted and the other didn't.
The "didn't" was duly replaced. Will it re-box in a lifetime?

"Them down South" were muttering about winds and bad weather and holding horizontal on lamp-posts. Want decent weather? Live up here, on balance we seem to come off just a teeny bit better.

Just spotted you can't, actually see the boxless one for that pesky Foxglove, which I haven't the heart to evict until after it flowers and before it sets seed.
