Where does the time go? After another busy week and hardly a moment to draw breath we did get to Compton Verney today with younger son Alex and his fiancée Tash.

I wouldn’t as a rule put family photos on but today with no other blip in sight I made an exception to that rule.

As members we can occasionally take guests and today was one of those days. After walking  around the main lake we went inside the house to see the Magnum photos exhibition. As the kids hadn’t been before they also wanted to see the Portrait Artist of The Year exhibition as well.

Afterwards a bit more walking and then home for a bite to eat before they had to head off to meet friends who will be looking after their cats for them in a few weeks.

Meanwhile we did some decorating of the front of the house for the Jubilee with flags and bunting donated by one of Jayne’s sisters.

Hopefully everyone is having a nice Bank Holiday and like us you’re all seeing plenty of sunshine.
