Jubbly Fly Past

It will never be called the Jubilee again!! I’m now in London staying with a friend for a few days over the Jubilee. On the train into Euston we were told that all tube stations near The Mall were now closed as the area was full to capacity. So… I took a cab from Euston to Sloane Square where I was meeting my friends. I had the most wonderful 1 hr 20 mins journey chatting to the cab driver. The first huge gun of the 21 gun salute terrified the poor driver who thought it was a bomb going off. I told her that there were another 20 to go!! It was just a part of the celebrations. We were stuck going around Hyde Park Corner for long enough to see the Fly Past. It was incredible. Ok, not front row seats but we saw everything. So exciting. There were thousands of people around Hyde Park Corner watching it. I was videoing the fly past and at the same time musicalblips was sending me photos of the tv coverage of the Mall and Buckingham Palace and the Queen. What a great experience.
