A quickie

A & Co arrived at midday. Staying in a hotel nearby. Nevertheless lots of preparing, and cleaning before - and hair wash etc.

Luckily they got here quite quickly (from London). I expected the M3 to be bumper to bumper.

Walked down to the Pier. We went on the ‘Wheel’ (my first time here). My blip is from the top. Not the best photo, but difficult when in a small space with a 5 year old distracting you.

Then up to the Savoy (soon to be called “The Nic”) and we sat on the terrace sipped Aspalls etc.

Just had dinner chez nous. Now up to the 9th to watch the Jubilee Fireworks. Must go … due up in 2 mns
