On our travels

The journey started well but slowed down as we went round Birmingham and headed south on the M5.

Arrived at our stop over on the Somerset levels in time for a walk with Jet. Some fine views from Aller Hill. The village had a number of Scarecrows. Many with a Royal theme. Rather liked this one at the church which recreated a recent photo of the Queen.

I was tempted by the one of Boris. However given this weekend is about the Queen I chose to keep the theme Royal.

A shorter journey tomorrow into Devon for an urban orienteering event round the streets of Tavistock.
