Damnit

Wow. Up to the cottage for the long weekend with my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Had a nice slow morning, put in the dock and swam out to the raft, then decided the weather was looking a little iffy, so went inside.

What a storm — the trees were waving like I’d never seen. And then we lost power, as did the rest of the ‘neighbourhood’ apparently.

Still managed a nice birthday (bbq) dinner in the dark :)
