Leaping into spring

Whilst walking up a couple of hill to photograph 2 ordinance survey trigualation stations with my cousin, we heard this noise, it was like a giant bee hovering, my mind went into overdrive trying to identify what it was & what direction coming from?

A few minutes later ( as we traveled around & down the hill) my cousin shouted... Look! It's guys on scrambler bikes ( motocross) well, to be honest, I'd never seen these guys in real life ( only the TV) and the sound they were making was distorted by the countryside echo ( that's my excuse) hence I thought giant bees!! ( I know, how sad am I)
Anyway, we had to go take a closer look, we asked a couple of men at the entrance if we could take some photos, yeah ( aye.. ok son) they said, but stay outside the fence, for safety reasons you understand!!
This photo was a result of "staying outside" the fence :-)

Oh and remember that bee sound... Well up close and personal to these young guys... My head was still saying, boy that's spooky, cos they do sound like Giant Bees! haha :-)
