Sun Day

While Chris has been working in the allotment shop this morning I have been out in the garden digging the ground ready for planting. It has been heaven with the hot sun on my back as I tackled the weeds.
We are lucky enough to have a wild area in the garden with an old apple tree and cob nut trees plus an array of beautiful spring flowers. They are really gorgeous this year, maybe because they are late appearing. I love this area in the summer as it is full of cow parsley and I love the smell.
I have just made some fruit scones to take to a friend's house for tea. What a perfect Sunday.
