Scarifying

The Ards Man bought a new scarifier and my word, did it throw up a pile of stuff from the lawn! It’s amazing!

I helped with raking the mass up into the wheelbarrow as the basket attachment with the scarifier filled up completely after about two steps!

It’s a lovely sunny day and I hope that the sun remains unclouded for the rest of the day as no1 peanut and the maestro (her husband) are stopping with us this evening before getting the ferry back home again tomorrow. An Indian takeaway has been promised! Yum.

The photo shows a bit at the top of our garden. The AM made the Adirondack chairs years ago and they could do with a lick of paint to preserve them. I do like this weathered appearance, though.

It’s FriYay! And you can just about see some flowers. :-)
