I bring you frills and flounces: Flower Friday

A late afternoon walk in my neighbourhood and it's hot and humid outside after a rain-shower earlier on.

I've been watching excerpts of the highly televised Jubilee celebrations. Wonderful! The church service was a bit long. My favourite text was by poet Laureate, Simon Armitage who read out his poem entitled "Queenhood". Just beautiful and so touching.
