Heron

We left our cottage by the shore this morning and are now settled in our cottage on the hill on the Applecross peninsula. 

About 50 miles south of where we were but more than twice that by road. We detoured to Kyle for supplies and had a short walk near Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye where this shot was taken.

The drive over the Bealach na Bà was exhilarating if a bit nerve wracking! A lot busier than the last time we came this way over twenty years ago. I was rather glad I wasn't driving!
