Escaping

The husband said this wasn't a great picture, until I pointed out the youngest who had just squeezed himself under the railings to get to the water. He is nothing if not determined! 

A quiet afternoon after a morning out at Rutland Water. I got a good run in with the dog. Shattered after a mammoth laundry/ ironing session this evening and waking up before 5, not getting back to sleep so getting up to catch up on some work before the rest of the house woke up (including the dog, who was snooring in the corner) 

Today I'm grateful for:
The youngest, who never ceases to entertain 
Long run with the dog
A long weekend, the whole country seems relaxed
