Poppies

A sea of red brought numerous cars to a standstill near Burford in West Oxfordshire; three glorious fields of poppies blowing in the wind.

A coach full of Japanese tourists had pulled over and they were wandering in the flowers taking selfies with notices everywhere asking people not to go in the fields. Cars had pulled over in the the lay-by as did we and you could take shots over the fence and although not sunny it was truly beautiful. 

No luck at the garden centre with the terracotta pots we were looking for but it was still a lovely afternoon out for a change.
