Kitchen Table Art.

An artist i like, Jane Davies, has coined this phrase....means using an assortment of materials, all of which don't need much prep and no clean up....so i have stabilo crayons, ink sticks, small water colour set, oil pastels, gel pens and these new tempera sticks....plus whatever else you have around.   Also, it's just a purely play time....i have a lovely new square journal which i have decided to use for these impromptu, not much time available - explorations.

I decided to reward myself after throwing 50 mugs today....

also, we're going out with the Gang for dinner to send Jane off on her trip to Ontario this weekend.   She's driving out (takes 3 days!) and will visit family and pick up her new trailer.   Very exciting.

This time last year i was out west awaiting the arrival of little Owen....seems like Morgan and were doing art this day then too!
