Coronation Memories

MrQ found his Coronation cine film while I was out yesterday. He faffed about with it and the ancient projector while I watched the service from St Paul's Cathedral. I made notes but I don't think my observations are for blip.

After lunch we struggled to show the film. He'd forgotten how the projector works. He couldn't find another reel so we ended up with a pile of celluloid on the floor. I managed to get a few shots. He took the ones at the top when he and his sister drove through London. The middle one is Admiralty Arch. The lower pics are from celebrations in our village. 

I made Coronation Chicken using the original recipe from 1953. (Extras) I always thought of Constance Spry as a flower arranger not a chef.
