Day 4. Tarnish

Tarnish
n. blemish: v.t. to diminish the luster of; sully.

Hunted for something tarnished all day. Was looking at every light and flag pole that crossed my path. Every car and shopping cart I witnessed.

Was handed back one coin at lunch today and this was it. A dime that looks as though it has traveled around the world a dozen times, been buried, dug up, then gone for a couple more trips around the world. Lucky little tarnished guy.
