A BLIP IS A KIND OF LOG

This is blip about logs and these logs are my blip today.
I had an interesting conversation with the contractor tidying up a site adjacent to the creation of a new roundabout- his advice, and I agree, is "clear the site and plant again" but local opinion worries about squirrels and elegant 'balding' trees now looking decidedly forlorn in my view. So it's a clearance with reservations!
The squirrels will migrate to the estate gardens and nearby woodland and the politicians paying (with our money!) are unwilling to take a firm decision towards a tidy and healthy future since votes are often gained through fudges!
In the end the area will resemble a "Bobby Charlton Haircut" and then everyone and no-one will be pleased.
