Duathalon

Playa La Ropa was the scene of a duathalon, swimming and running, today. I would have missed it, we haven't spent much time at the beach lately, except I saw the transit police placing cones on the road as I was making my way home from my morning trip to town. I remembered in years past that this meant something was happening at the beach. I arrived in time to get shots of the pre-race meeting, the start, and these two young men battling for the lead as they exited the water in first position after their initial swimming lap.
