Strolling down the Mall amongst the concert goers
We shall watch the concert at my friends house, with a glass of bubbly to toast the Queen’s good health. We’ve spent the day walking amongst the crowds along the Mall and Green Park. So many people just having a wonderful time. Lots of people camping out to get a good seat. On Horseguard’s parade, there were wonderful floats lined up ready for the parade tomorrow. They were unbelievably stunning. It is fabulous to think there are still wonderful artisans in the Uk who can create such amazing things. We spoke to Malcolm, who created the Jubilation float with marching beefeaters and crowns that spin round and he told us it was all made out of mdf, a bit of fibreglass and a lot of plywood!! Look out for it. They come from Bridgwater in Somerset and create floats every year for their carnival in November. Has anyone every seen it? I would love to go.
