In the morning went to a lovely yoga event led by Moira Forsyth . I could not stay for the sound bath with Becky as I had an appointment to take mum out for lunch with my son.
This did not turn out as we had hoped . We had not been told mum had a urinary infection and was on antibiotics. If I’d known we would not have made the effort to take her into town for lunch. It was difficult, but the food at Mrs Green’s was good.

It was a fairly short trip out … it was hard to explain to Mum why we could not go back into the home with her . The rules are still fairly strict re Covid / visiting at her care home. Understandable after the disaster of Covid in care homes.

I felt pretty upset and went to bed afterwards. I rallied in the evening and met up with some girlfriends for a meal at The Nith in Glencaple.
I had vegetarian lasagne. Yummy . It did lift my spirits. The photo is taken at the end of the meal , looking over the river Nith .
Laurence was also out for a meal in town .
