Street Party

A street party on Romway Close. Whoever thought it might happen? Even so, we left the party still not knowing the identity of the 'neighbours' at the end of the table.

I'd made my cheese scones yesterday evening. Tasted great when fresh but a bit dry today. Similarly,  my sponge cake came out more like a baked meringue but since only Len and I are likely to eat it, I doubt it matters.

Extra shows the cutting of the Jubilee cake which I couldn't eat. No matter.
