Gulliver's lucky day!!!

We went to watch the Flotilla on the Thames which turned out to be rather uninteresting, at the Lensbury Gulliver dropped his i-pad mini and cracked the screen, he bought it yesterday having saved up for ages!
He was very upset as you can imagine.
I called them and they said they would replace it for half the purchase price, groan, he agreed to forgo his pocket money to pay for the replacement so we went into the Apple store in Kingston only to be told we needed an appt and to come back on Tuesday, I made it clear that I wasn't impressed as I hadn't been told that when I rang the store otherwise I wouldn't have come in today! Then someone got the manager and the next thing we knew it was being exchanged at no charge! Wow!!
We were overcome, hurrah!
We had a fun time at the shops trying out lots of comfy sofas as well.
