Pitts Special

A Lancaster bomber flew directly over the house yesterday. I wasn't expecting so I didn't have a camera at the ready. Still with the Torbay Air Show, or should I say The English Riviera Air Show, on today and tomorrow, I had high hopes.

The day dawned rainy and dreary but fortunately the worst of the rain moved on by the afternoon and the organisers announced that it would go ahead with just a few changes to allow for the weather. Sadly, most of the planes were routed from Exeter over the sea to Torbay so we heard them and had distant glimpses. The Red Arrows came in from mid Devon via Totnes and went home to Exeter over the sea. The one plane that came over our way was the Rich Goodwin's Pitts Special so that's my blip.
