Bordering on Summer

Appearances can be deceptive. This photo of one of the flower beds in my garden was taken during a sunny spell this afternoon. Sunny, maybe, but it was definitely not warm. I can’t remember such a chilly start to June and the traveller, who returns to the heat of Malta tomorrow, has been complaining about how cold it is in the house without any heating on! 

Today has been spent doing his last minute washing, and some baking, and also playing with granddaughter #2, who is back from her trip to Poland and wanted to say goodbye to Uncle B. We shall miss him so much when he leaves tomorrow morning.
