Show-off!
This plant amazes me...it was put in the ground last Fall at the very end of the planting season when the blooms had gone. I looked at the picture on the tag at the time and thought: r-i-i-ight, I'll never see those fiery, lime yellow blooms because it will likely not have enough time to establish strong roots before the first freeze.
On a dewy October morning last Fall, I walked out and found it covered in dew, so it became my seventh blip.
Today, in the blazing sunlight, it lived up to its name with such gusto, already twice as big as last year. Sorry I doubted you, little Euphorbia polychroma 'Bonfire'!
